Ceramicus09: An Exhibition of Contemporary Ceramic Art

Ceramicus is the annual exhibition Wellington Potters’ Association (WPA). It will feature a selection of the best ceramic art and functional pottery by WPA members, along with the unique wood-fired domestic ware of guest artist and selector Duncan Shearer

WPA was incorporated in 1958 and is arguably the oldest pottery club in the country. Based at the Wellington Potters’ Centre, a well-appointed facility in Thorndon, the association now has some 200 members and is involved in a wide range of activities encouraging ceramics at all skill levels.

Entry to the exhibition is free; work is for sale.
