At the Academy Galleries on Wednesday 13 September, 5:30pm we had an exciting opportunity to hear Pedro Trueba speaking on his art and inspiration. Possibly the only chance to hear this extraordinary artist explain his motivations and technical approach. Described by the Mexican Ambassador as the pre-eminent living Mexican artist today, Pedro spoke and presented from 6pm for about 30-40 minutes before inviting questions. Light refreshments were be provided. Entry was free, but koha appreciated.
