Birds Eye

It's been fascinating; the great sense of freedom I have felt being able to fly with this bird. The silent whisper of his wings through the clouds, dipping in the waves of the sky. In his wings I'm flying, he takes me to the tops of mountains and trees that wrap about me.

I photograph old navigational instruments, maps, lighthouses, and mountains, pushing layers back and forth for added movement, depth and complexity. I layer textures of digital and multimedia pushing the boundaries of my art. My work is loose impressionism meets abstraction, every picture is a journey.
