Childhood holidays to the beach cemented in me a life long passion for the ocean and the life in it. Since beginning painting in watercolour some 15 years ago I have continued to explore the challenges of this difficult medium by painting imaginary snapshots of sea life. Transparent watercolour paints are particularly suitable for creating the see through colours in the water.
